At Fattoria Le Caprine, we are dedicated to producing high-quality, small-batch wines that reflect the unique character of our land. Our philosophy is simple: respect nature, preserve tradition, and craft wines that tell a story.



We work organically, avoiding synthetic treatments and fostering biodiversity to create healthy, resilient vines that adapt to changing climates. Our winemaking approach is minimal intervention—we guide the process while allowing the grapes to express their full potential.


The Vineyard


Located at 100 meters above sea level, our vineyard grows on silt-clay soils with a southwest exposure, benefiting from optimal sunlight and ventilation. The original vineyard was planted in 1970, and despite its challenges, we chose to restore it, respecting its history. In 2020, we expanded by planting another hectare with native red varieties such as Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo.


We harvest all grapes by hand, carefully selecting the best clusters and using small 17 kg crates to protect the fruit. Each variety is vinified with precision, using native yeasts whenever possible and aging in materials that enhance complexity without overpowering the wine’s natural character.
